Privacy
This page is short because the site keeps very little. Updated 2026-10-31.
What we keep
- Your guess, if you make one: which of the six buttons you pressed and when. It becomes a public, signed ticket in the guess chain. It holds no name, no address and nothing about you.
- Your email address, if you sign up. It is locked (encrypted) the moment it reaches us, with a key kept in a separate key vault. The website itself can lock addresses with that key but cannot unlock them. We use it for one email to check it's really you, then for real news about the launch. Nothing else. It is never sold or shared.
- Your IP address, for a few minutes, in memory only, to stop spam (too many guesses or sign-ups from one place). We don't log it: this site's request logs are switched off. The only visits we write down are search engine and link-preview robots, by name.
What we never do
- No cookies. No trackers. No analytics scripts. No ads.
- Nothing on the page loads from anyone else's servers. Even the fonts are ours.
On your device
Your browser remembers your last guess ticket and your motion and sound settings, so they are still there next time. That stays on your device.
Where it lives
On servers in the United States. The keys that sign tickets and lock email addresses are kept in a separate key vault and never leave it.
Leaving
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all email at once. If you also want your encrypted address deleted, reply to any email we send and say so.
